Property booked but now listed for sale

We booked an Airbnb in a very popular Welsh resort in august 2022 for us to stay in august 2023. We have a family member nearby who we are visiting and the Airbnb house is now for sale. If the house sell before our booking date what happens? There are no other properties available now unless we pay a 100-150% premium.

@Chris18039 I would message the host and ask that they confirm they will not complete on the sale of the house before your booking is fulfilled. Allegedly Aircover for guests looks after this situation but there is a get out whereby they just refund your money which is not helpful in the situation your describe.

Oftentimes when a rental property is sold it follows on those very footsteps, it is the reason why someone would buy it. If this is not the mentality then perhaps time to look elsewhere.
