Hey!

Hope you all are doing well!

May you help me with ways how to increase my social impact and reviews for guests in my airbnb home.

I would be really grateful to know from people that talk from experience.

Best regards,
Vjola **

@Vjola2 what do you mean by social impact? And are you looking to better review your guests or to get better reviews yourself?

To increase the number of guests, and consequently the number of reviews from guests @Inna22

@Vjola2 there are many posts to read here about how to increase bookings and there is a section where you can post your listing for suggestions. Have you done either one?

Hello. For us we haven't done anything specific but I think having good communication with your guest like checking in with them to make sure they have everything they need really helps making a connection with your guests so in the end it is more of a natural step for them to leave a review.

Hello Vjola,

I think healthy communication with your guests keep them ensured of your concern for them. Small gestures of surprising them with courtesy and little favors brings them back and also good reviews!

Al the best,

Samia

Hi Vjola

I have been hosting for a few months and find most people want to review but we didn't give them an opportunity at the biggning. Over time we got into the rythm of following simple steps.

Send a welcome email before arrival. Provide as much information such as directions, contacts, activities nearby etc. Clear information on what to expect at your home. A small note to reach out at any time but when they can meet personally.

Try to make an effort to meet or even call once during their stay if they seem to be ok with meeting you. They will provide feedback personally. You can gently mention that you would be happy to get their review,

On the day of departure remind them what you expect. And a gentle reminder and link where you expect a review.

We find following these steps is the best chance we get a review.

Hope it helps

Hi Vjola2,

I believe that the scheduled messages have a lot to do with the positive reviews. The messages make our guest feel welcome and taken care of. Besides this, having our condo immaculately clean.
