@Mario3405 The system isn't perfect but if you take out two categories there is very little left.

Thank you for giving me support. Let’s Talk about location and value. We all know that if you want Good price your location is no good also, if you want good location, you gotta pay a high price that means the customer is not gonna be satisfied. Anyway, you will get it three stars, or even less That’s why we have to fight back to take their location and value out of platform they have to review you on your place clean this communication we can put a lot of other stuff that shows Our hard work if the customer is cheap, you will get it one star They can put the location on value on the Airbnb. Feedback not for us

@Mario3405Hello, nice to meet a fellow Marylander. I think that if guests took the time to look at all the photos and read the entire listing, they might not be disappointed when they arrive. Many times I ask guests to please be sure to read the listing. There is a lot of important information there. But most do not read the listing. I can understand they might not give five stars if they find their Airbnb is less than what they expected. What I would like to see removed is "location". I assume that before guests book they are looking for a specific area. I am very specific about my location, proximity to UDM, DC, National Archives, shopping...so when a guest leaves  five stars for everything but Location, I'm not happy. It's the one thing I cannot do anything about, and would love to have that removed from the review system. Best of luck, Mario.

Hi,

I am confused on your overall rating, you had 4 of 6 categories as a 4 and the 2 out of 6 as a 3 and they gave you an overall rating of a 3? Sometimes I really wish Airbnb did half stars.

I understand your frustrations with the location and value as I’ve been dinged on location when I am very descriptive where my listing is and how far we are away from cities or local attractions. It’s subjective to the guests perspective and they knew when they were booking where we are; perhaps they wanted a quieter location or a more reasonably priced accommodation rather than staying in the cities.

The two reviewers who docked me I believe lived the center of cities and my location is a residential neighborhood just outside a city but a convenient drive in (8-20 min drive depending on the city). Since then, I wrote out the distance, time to drive/walk/bike to an area and explained that most people here drive to their destinations as most locations are not easily accessible via public transit or walking. I think this has helped the location rating. However like other people have said - many people don’t read the entire listing. Some don’t even read my arrival guide or check in instructions.
