Firstly, Congratulations on your new listing and wish you all the very best !
Here are a few things I did during my first listing and they took a lot of time and efforts but were worth while.
These are good to start with...Feel free to reach out if you need any assistance
Most Importantly...I prepare the house for my guests as if its being audited for "Michelin stars"
Cheer !
Turn on Airbnb New Listing Discount Airbnb gives that a boost in display
As you are new, you can approach your friends , relatives to stay by keeping the price lower for initial 2-3 stays.
1. Be a guest in your own listing by spending a night, it will pay off
2. identify your target market,
3. know the competition you up against in your area
4. Treat every guest as if it’s your first, this helps to build database of return guests.
these are just pointers, they can be explained in details , they have worked for me.
Hi 👋
Try spreading the news through all your social media accounts. Use your airbnb link.
If you have LinkedIn add a story about how you decided to become a host.
Make a Google MyBusiness account for your place where you can also add the airbnb link.
I would offer discounted rates for first initial bookings to get your listing out there and get the reviews also welcome treats go down well
Will consider that as well . Thanks a lot for the suggestions simone
For starters, I would label the pictures. I would remove the pictures that shows your progress of repairs. I would also consider removing anything that makes the place look like someone lives there. Be more intentional as to how you hang your towels. Add some color to the outdoors; plants, flowers. Remove the picture that has the truck in it. Neatly arrange the outdoor furniture. Remove the outdoor plumbing pictures that's on the side of the house. Remove the picture that has a blue bucket at the entry door. There are no pictures of the main sitting area, if there is one, nor of the kitchen.
This place has some BEAUTIFUL ceilings.
Thanks a ton , will work on ur suggestions

Hello Shahid,
Congrats on your listing. As other have recommended, take advantage of the discounts that Air provides for first three bookings. Automate your messages to your guests. Have a guestbook with clear communication about how to use things in your property and any other useful info such as the town, property, etc. Make sure you have double of everything - linens, plates, etc., it will make turnovers easy. Provide spices for cooking, games and books for entertainment, and little extras like snacks go a long way. Your guests will also provide feedback and when they do, take it seriously and make changes based on good feedback. Enjoy the journey. Sky
