Hi! I just booked an Airbnb in Barcelona and the host is utilizing “Sweett.” They messaged me with a link to verify my information and this includes passport information. I do not feel comfortable providing this, should I cancel?

It's the law in most of Europe that any legal accommodation provider must obtain the IDs of all guests. Spain in particular has a rather stringent system for that. The host can be fined for failing to do it. And/or lose their licence.
I'm not sure why you would feel uncomfortable about that. I have to provide ID for lots of things, including hotels and yes, Airbnbs.
