TTLOCK integration with AirBnB

Hi Airbnb Community,

We recently bought a condo in Mexico and the attached lock has been installed.

It seems to work with the TTLOCK app.

We don't have any experience with this type of lock or the app.

Has anyone used TTLOCK and successfully integrated it with AirBnB to provide:

1: Remote access codes to guests

2: Remote administrative control for the host

Do you need any additional hardware for remote administration like a gateway?

Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Marie-And-Oliver0 , Smart locks have been a trending topic on the Community Center. We've noticed many Hosts talk about either Schlage or Yale smart locks and integrating it with their Airbnb listing.  So I'll wait to see if other Host members have any advice regarding this particular lock and app.

In the meantime, have you managed to explore the settings of the above smart lock through the app? What have been your findings so far? Have you managed to sort the codes and navigate through the lock control functions?

Hi, if you are trying to have AirBnB automatically generate the code for each guest, that feature only works with certain locks. I screen grabbed some info hopefully the picture will attach. 

however since you don’t have the type that ABB can control you simply generate the codes yourself and send it to the guest manually. I am able to program in the last four digits of the guest cell phone, along with a start time and date and end time and date that the code will function. The only downside is I have to remember to do this manually. Also I allow instant same day bookings and I have to be prepared to send out the code in that event. 

to create a new code in mine I create a new “user” and generate the code I want. It also has the option to generate a random code. Since I do set the window of time that it will work, I can send the code to guest as early as I want, and I do them all at the beginning of the month, keeping an eye for late bookings. It’s been working great.
