Tenant concerned

Tenant concerned

I am a resident at a large residential apartment complex where all tenants are screened prior to move in for safety purposes. I recently found out that the property mgmt company is using several units as airbnb short term rentals requiring minimum three night stay and maximum six nights with full access to all community amenities that require key cards. There is self check in self check out. As a long term tenant here we have never been made aware that frequent non residents would be on the premises and allowed in our pool gym and business center. I am concerned about this and would appreciate any advice. And the lease agreement specifically does not allow for tenants to host on these sites. It seems shady to say the least.

@Alexis855 This is an issue for your body corporate . Notify them and attend the meetings to raise your current issues . In Australia all owners should have acess to all rules and updates. It seems that you have not kept up to date or your body corporate is not functioning as it should . Do you pay insurances through this agency ?, then you need to re connect pronto... H

@Alexis855 An interesting situation as it is usually the management company that is responsible for enforcing the terms of the lease!
