Hi all, I’ve been hosting for six months and have been recently blessed with a couple of one week stays 🙂
is there any advise/recommendations out there wrt towel allocation per guest per one week stay? Btw I’ve moved from bath towels to bath sheets
Thanks In advance
@Vee274 The most common allocation I see is two towels and two washcloths per guest per one week stay, but there are other variables. Some hosts give guests access to backup storage of extra towels and linens, and hosts who provide laundry facilities tend to assume that longer-staying guests will wash their own towels as needed.
If you offer a water feature such as pool or hot tub, or there's a beach nearby, a separate basket of outdoor towels would be very good to have.
Thanks so much for your speedy response @Anonymous , good idea about the extra backup storage.. and maybe I should also leave a friendly reminder about the environment 😃
@Vee274 I find that those reminders about the environment ring hollow when they're too vague or general - everyone who cares already knows that conserving is better than wasting. But guests are more receptive when you offer more granular insight into the specfically local ecological concerns.
