Hi All:
We are new to hosting on Airbnb. On our listing we state we do not allow events. Curious what happens if a guest actually does host an event at the home unauthorized.

Hi @Bethany323
Even if your listing clearly states “no events,” there can be instances where guests may not follow the rules. In such cases, it’s important to act promptly. You can contact the guest immediately through the platform to remind them of the house rules and ask them to stop the activity.
If the situation continues, you should report it to Airbnb support right away. Airbnb has policies in place regarding unauthorized parties, and they can assist with intervention and, if required, cancellation of the reservation.
It’s also helpful to have preventive measures in place such as clear house rules, security deposits (where applicable), guest verification, and monitoring through cameras or building security.
Let me know if it helps 👍🏻

Congratulations on your new listing!
In addition to Vivek's advice, here it an article with more 👉 tips to help prevent parties at your property. Is this something that has happened before or are you asking to be prepared should the situation come up?
Have a lovely day,
