I have received an email from **** regarding downloading a QR code for a fee exemption when visiting Venice.

Is this a legit email?

yes indeed! The Municipality of Venice has introduced an entrance ticket for the historic center of Venice on specific days. This ticket does not apply to people who are staying overnight in Venice. For this you need an exemption QR code. 😉
