Hello,
I got a message from my host saying they decided to dispose of all the facilities and it will be runby a new owner, they'll be sending me a new reservations link a a few weeks (my reservations is in 1 month), and asking me to cancel my reservation (which I won't do).
is this possible for them to transfer my reservation to a new admin? help please what should I do?

thanks! at the end Airbnb contacted the host and he decided to cancel my reservation, I'll be getting a full refund and book a new Airbnb as I do consider this App convinient.
No they can't . Tell them if they can no longer host you they should cancel (they shouldn't have accepted the booking knowing they couldn't host.
if you cancel there's no guarantee they will send you a link, it will be at the same price or that the new host will manage to the same standards
contact Airbnb and ask them to initiate their host cancellation policy and help you find alternative accommodation
many thanks! I'll have to do that as the stress is killing me and I really don't want to cause problems to the host but this seems to be the best way! thanks.
I wouldn't worry about causing problems for the original host. They have behaved unprofessionally by both accepting bookings they knew they couldn't honour and then expecting you to cancel.
they know they should be cancelling not you.

'@Narda41 sadly Airbnb doesn't allow hosts to sell their listings and retain bookings. Unless of course they are a commercial host whereby Airbnb does allow the property to be sold in the background. I would do things slightly differently to @Helen3
1) I would call Airbnb and ask them if they can find you somewhere else. If they can great - if not then move to step 2
2) Ask the host to get the new owner to send you a booking link for the new listing within a week (as your trip is quite soon). Ask the current owner to send a clear message that they are selling up and there is no way they can host you.
3) Call Airbnb and ask them to transfer the booking from the old to the new listing.
Sorry the host has been naughty and caused you this mess. Aircover for guests should help but in the end it just gets your money back and nowhere to stay.
Let us know how you get on.
