For summer period at the sea side apartments, I've activated the "special weekly prices" on the calendar as mid summer week (15th of august) is not costing the same as mid June week.
In Italy all apartment week rents start on saturday, but the system is completely stupid as the weeks starts on monday ending on sunday.
So if I have an enquiry from saturday 9th till saturday 16th the system is going crazy as from 9th to 10th is picking the price of the previous week (which goes from monday 4th to sunday 10th) and mixing with the rate that starts on monday 11 ending sunday 17th. Last but not least the system does not recognize the week as "a whole" (as the reservation is ending 1 day before (sat instead of sun) and it does not apply the whole rate but only a part of it.....
Finally the client asks for the period jul 9th till jul 17th thinking the cost will be 550Euro, when it's 1100Euro the real cost indicated for that week.
THAT IS INCREDIBLE!!!
How can I work with such a system?
Does anyone found a solution?
