Hello everyone 😊
Today, I would love to hear how you handle your bed linens and sheets!
This is an important part of creating a welcoming atmosphere for your guests.
What’s your approach? Do you prefer to handle it yourself, or do you like the convenience of outsourcing laundry? 🧺
I would love to hear why you prefer your chosen approach and look forward to reading about your experiences in the comments!
Warm regards 🌻,

Hi @Andreas1194 😊,
Thank you for participating in this discussion here!
I am curious, why are you not satisfied with the laundry? I know it can take a while to find a good one. Have you tried different ones?
Warm regards, 🌻

Hello Elisa
Where we live we only have one laundry and I don't like it.
Where do you live so that you have more opportunities to try out different laundries?
As I said, since I only have one room where I have to do the laundry, it's not so bad.
Hi @Andreas1194 😊,
It makes sense! If you have only one laundry in the city, I understand it can be hard to find good service.
Yes, one room is not a lot of work. Do you also manage the general cleaning of the room?

I wash the sheet myself, while I have someone help with the cleaning
Hi @Antonella952 😊,
Thank you for sharing your approach here!
That's great that someone can help you. How many bedrooms do you have?

We like to launder the bed linen and towels ourselves. It’s a little easier when you only have one airbnb apartment. At times it can be difficult, but we also set our minimum stay to 2 nights which helps greatly.
Hi @Al283 😊,
Thank you for participating here!
Setting a minimum stay of two nights is a smart strategy. 😍
Have you found that this approach improves your guests’ experience?
Warm regards, 🌻

Yes I think it improves guests experience when they are here for a minimum of 2 nights and bookings have not suffered because of it.
We manage & clean linen & sheets ourselves. Whilst the property is being cleaned between guests, the used sheets are washed and dried in the property, but they are replaced with fresh linen that was cleaned from the previous clean - we have 2 sets of everything, plus a few more extras.
This is the easiest method for us, keeps costs down, and works.
Hi @Ami11220 😊,
thank you for sharing your approach here!
Do you have any tips for keeping everything organized?

Hi my fellow Airbnb host, the linen/laundry part of this is very time consuming and challenging. To manage that part of the STR to all of our places, we have left instructions in our check-out to do list a day before to have all the dirty linens, towels and any other dirty laundry next to the washer and dryer to literally do that first before cleaning up the place. We knew originally that this was going to be challenging so we went ahead and bought several sets of linens to have and tackle any situation we may run into. And yes, our cleaning team takes care of them for us which we are very thankful for that.
have a blessed day!
Hi @Ana33374 😊,
You have a great way to streamline the laundry process, especially with the extra sets of linens ready to go.
How do you find coordinating with the cleaning team? Do you have any advice for maintaining good communication with them to ensure everything runs smoothly?
Warm regards, 🌻

I'm new to hosting and haven't had that many guests yet, which is why I wash the bed sheets myself to make sure they're spotless. This became more evident when I realized that a guest had stained one bedsheet with some oily substance that wouldn't come out even after 3 washing cycles! I finally managed to remove the stains but if I hadn't spotted them myself as i was folding the fresh laundry, and relied on a professional service instead I'm not sure they would have noticed the small stains. This of course depends on the quality and standards of laundry services in different countries.
Hi @Amira326 😊,
Thank you for sharing your approach here!
Have you ever thought about asking for help from a laundry service? I’m sure there are some good ones.

I only have one unit and manage the laundry myself.
