How to list 2 separate living areas in one home

We have 2 separate living spaces in our home - the 1st is the main level and upstairs.
The 2nd has a separate back deck entrance to the downstairs with an open living, kitchen and office space, a large laundry room, and a large bedroom and closet area.

How would we go about listing these living areas separately at the same address?

Thank you.

Hi @Dr--Jody0

You can list these as two separate listings, one for the main floor and the other for the basement.  If they are fully self-contained, they would be whole home listings.  Do you want to be clear however in your description.  I actually have a listing which is like this and I had created 3 listings.  One for the main floor, one for the basement suite and then a third one for the entire place.  We did however find that most people book the entire house so we removed the other two listings.  We also found that we would have some book the basement suite and another group would book the main floor and then we would have one group complain that the other group were noisy.  Now by listing the entire place, we get guests who are a group of friends, larger families and often groups of families with their kids.  We no longer get complaints because they know each other and if someone is noisy, they just tell them to be quiet and do not involve us.

I hope this helps.
