Kitchen staples for guests

Hi, I'm just wondering how many hosts leave kitchen staples, like flour, honey, etc. I think one of the nice amenities of my home is the well equipped kitchen. I know that my family and I like to cook together in homes that we've rented and appreciated the staples left for us to use.

I appreciate the link and support. I’ve tried two recommendations from my local Airbnb FB group and they came highly recommended but didn’t respond. Three others try the ask the host a question and offer their services. Many homeowners use turno and some love them while others don’t. Pricing is also much higher for an Airbnb clean than a standard clean (even if you provide all the cleaning products and do your laundry (there’s extra bedding provided) and dishes) and I have a 330SF space.

Ah! I see @Lorina14 ~ that's a bummer that some of the recommended cleaners didn't respond.

Regarding other services, I agree, there are so many variables and factors to consider before finalizing a cleaning service. I wish you all the best with your search 🌻 You'll get there 💪

Our guest quarters are a distance from any grocery stores so we do have a few of the basic's.  We have a butlers pantry providing coffee, tea, creamer, honey, sugar, salt, pepper and a variety of quick fix items for those arriving late without any provisions.  Cereal, peanut butter, jelly, bagels,  soups, milk, silk, and other snacks.  Nothing fancy just a few things to carry guest over until they are able to get what they need.  Location can be a factor

It’s so interesting how the guest comment about our pantry, but very few even use something from it. Always have coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. All of the items are single serve things, peanut butter, honey, Ramen Noodles, Rice Bowel, Pasta, Soups, Cheerios, oatmeal, and a small individual carton of 2% milk, (if opened.I replace it with a new one ). Gluten free items are appreciated as well. I do mix it up but always single serve quick items.  Our Pantry is small and  I do not provide things like flour , sugar,  etc for any major meal pre. We are in a very rural area with grocery stores and restaurants a distance away.  Even though guests do not use many of the things provided I think just having them available makes a guest feel like we care about their needs.

Have you ever considered putting together a little welcome note or menu card that highlights what’s in the pantry? May be that could enhance guest stay with upfront information, especially considering your listing is away from grocery stores?

Wow, thanks for all the answers! Unfortunately, the notifications went to my junk mail, so I'm just seeing all these. 
It is helpful to know that some of you like to leave a well stocked kitchen. I guess my concern was leaving open containers of things like flour, if there would be any concern of contamination. I am planning on using the house, too, so it would be convenient for me, as well, to have a good variety of staples.

Providing kitchen staples for guests is a wonderful facility, especially for families. I always keep tea, coffee, milk, sugar, and some cooking ingredients, like small pouches of cooking oil, spices, and sauces, as complimentary items. I also store some cooking essentials such as rice, dal, bread, eggs, chicken, and cold drinks, which are available for purchase. Guests are always happy to have access to these amenities in my fully equipped kitchen. All of these things are key factors in helping me maintain my Superhost status.
