The Superhost program celebrates and rewards Airbnb’s top-rated and most experienced hosts.
Every 3 months, we review host performance over the past year to see who meets the Superhost criteria. Those who do earn special recognition, dedicated Airbnb Support, and exclusive rewards.
This quarter, we recognized hosts who earned or maintained Superhost status. Congratulations—thanks for everything you do for your guests, and the extra effort you bring to every stay!
Whether you’re a new or longtime Superhost, we want to hear from you. What helped you reach this achievement? How did you go above and beyond for your guests?
Share your insights in the comments to inspire and support other hosts.
Hello @George1460, yay 🎉, that’s a huge milestone. Congratulations!
What has been your key strategy for maintaining this status over the years?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
@Paula You gotta make sure that your properties are completely clean every single time and believe it or not I don’t trust anybody, but I do it myself because it’s my reputation. and by clean, I’m talking about clean sheets towels, your restroom, toilet your furniture, your floor mats bathroom mats your kitchen counters restroom counters in your floors are supposed to be shining. I have two right now long-term that they’ve been there for 12 months from the government and from Boeing. again, it’s because how the way you built your Airbnb. people wanna have things that they don’t have in their homes. I even have a karaoke machine which they don’t use that much at all. I also provide free cable pay-per-view since I have a box that will let them access whatever they want even local channels from wherever they live. you gotta take care of your people and you gotta make sure and treat your property like if it’s a five star hotel Airbnb rocks.
Hi, I canceled a reservation made in November 25 for an error I made in pricing. The reservation was for June of 26. Because of that, I could not obtain super host status. Since this is reviewed every three months I don’t understand why a cancellation made back in November is still being held against me as a reason to deny me Superhost status when I have met all the criteria. I don’t understand that kind of a policy. Can you explain that? thanks
I am in my first year hosting a intercoastal front home at Ormond by the Sea. I have been personally asking my guest for some of the experiences they are looking for before arrival. We consistently learned that fishing, beach days, biking and shell hunting. So we now have 4 bikes, beach chairs, cooler, basic fishing tackle and special basket of beach towels that our guests can use at no extra charge.
We are focused on making their time at our home better than any hotel!!!
Hi @Bobby347 , it’s wonderful to see how you tailor amenities as per guest interests.
Is there any specific amenity that you've added especially after guest feedback?
Hi Bhumika,
Yes, I had my bikes locked up and a guest asked to use them. So now have 4 bikes, beach chairs, cooler, basic fishing tackle and special basket of beach towels that our guests can use at no extra charge. Outstanding results!
That's amazing @Bobby347! Have you noticed an increase in positive reviews since then?😍
Hola mi experiencia con Airbnb a sido genial, tenemos un alojamiento muy especial para nosotros, no lo restauramos con este fin, pero ahora estamos encantados nos implicamos en tratar de que se sientan como en casa. Hello, my experience with Airbnb has been fantastic. We have a very special place to stay; we didn't renovate it specifically for this purpose, but now we're delighted and dedicated to making guests feel at home. Every little detail is important to us. I like to provide what I expect when I travel, so we have bicycle parking for maintenance and cleaning. This is important when traveling by bike, and it's not easy to find. In short, we're delighted to offer our accommodation, El Altillo, in Haro, La Rioja, Spain. Greetings to all!

Thank you for sharing some of your hosting experience, @Txarli0. Is this the first time you've achieved Superhost status? Congratulations and wishing you all the success 🎉
Superhost Rewards Can Be Better — We Deserve Better
After 15 consecutive quarters as a Superhost, I would like to start a constructive discussion about the Superhost reward program.
My main suggestion is very simple:
Superhost rewards should accumulate and not expire.
In most loyalty programs—airlines, hotels, banks, and membership clubs—rewards accumulate over time. Long-term loyalty is recognized and rewarded.
As Superhosts, we work continuously throughout the year. We answer messages, solve problems, maintain properties, welcome guests, and invest significant time and money to provide great experiences. Our effort does not expire, so it seems reasonable that our rewards should not expire either.
The current $100 reward is appreciated, but in many popular destinations it is often not enough to cover even one night's stay. If rewards accumulated, they would become much more useful and meaningful.
My second suggestion is that Airbnb could offer additional practical benefits for long-term Superhosts, such as:
•transferable to family
.Promotional boosts and marketing tools to help increase listing visibility
• Reduced Airbnb guest service fees when Superhosts travel and book other Airbnb properties
• Other benefits that recognize long-term commitment to the platform
I have shared this idea several times during my years with Airbnb, but I have never received any feedback on it.
I believe this is a topic that will become increasingly important, especially for hosts who have maintained Superhost status for many consecutive years.
What do other hosts think?
Would you support:
Accumulating Superhost rewards instead of expiring rewards?
Additional practical benefits for long-term Superhosts?
Both?
I would love to hear your views
I’m honored and excited to become an Airbnb Superhost!
When I started hosting, I set a goal to meet every metric and continuously improve. I take pride in keeping my properties beautiful, spotless, and welcoming, while making sure every guest feels cared for and supported.
Thank you to all my guests for your trust, kindness, and wonderful reviews. This recognition motivates me to keep delivering exceptional experiences every day.
Big congratulations on this great achievement, @Sofia1563. I’m glad to see your efforts are being recognized. How long did it take you to receive this recognition?
Looking forward to hearing more about your experience.
Feeling incredibly honored to be recognized as a Superhost this quarter. Sweet River is a small venue with a big heart, and every guest who has camped under our stars or celebrated a special moment here has helped us reach this milestone. Thank you to everyone who trusted us with their stay — your kindness, reviews, and shared memories mean the world. We’re excited to keep creating peaceful, welcoming experiences for every traveler who visits.

Hi @Sweet-River0, many congratulations and thanks so much for sharing your excitement with us 🤗 What's your go-to recipe to create memorable stays for guests?
Thank you so much — this recognition truly means a lot. For us at Sweet River, our “recipe” for memorable stays is built on one core belief: transparency creates trust. We’re extremely upfront about every aspect of our property, including the quirks that come with being an outdoor venue and riverside campsite. We’ve found that when guests know exactly what to expect, those “flaws” stop being flaws and become part of the adventure — something easy to manage and even enjoyable.
The second pillar is communication. If you don’t communicate well, you’ve already lost half the battle. We stay in close contact with guests before and during their stay, answer questions quickly, and make sure they feel supported. Clear communication has been the single biggest factor in our positive reviews.
And finally, we focus on thoughtful amenities, even the small ones. Because we’re an outdoor space, our amenities look a little different: a BBQ grill, complimentary 5 gallons of ice water in the warm months, a clean port‑a‑potty, solar lights, tiki torches, and a fire pit. We do everything we can to create an inviting oasis — even though we can’t control the weather, the river, or the occasional pests, we can control how comfortable and welcomed our guests feel.
For us, memorable stays come from honesty, communication, and small touches that show guests we care.
