Bring back “Add Note” function.

Dear Airbnb Team,

I’m writing as a long-time host to express how valuable the “Add Notes” feature was on the Airbnb calendar, particularly for blocked dates. The recent removal of this function has created an operational gap for many hosts like myself who rely on clear internal record-keeping to manage our properties effectively.

Beyond simply noting personal or family use of a property, the “Add Notes” feature was essential for tracking a range of property-related activities. This includes scheduled maintenance, deep cleans, staging days, pest control visits, inspections, and other operational needs that may require blocking dates temporarily. Without the ability to add context to these blocks, it’s much more difficult to keep track of why dates were reserved and to coordinate with staff or co-hosts managing the listing.

I respectfully ask that Airbnb consider reinstating this feature—either as part of the standard calendar tools or within the Professional Hosting Tools interface. It was a simple but powerful tool that greatly enhanced our ability to run an organized and efficient hosting operation.

Many hosts have posted here on the CC complaining of its removal with the new Release.   Make sure you use the Feedback section to ask for it back - the more hosts complain about this, the better the chances of seeing it returned.  Why remove it in the first place???

Hi Airbnb,

Could agree more with Kendall Ermshar.  As a host, I rely heavily on being able to add notes to specific calendar dates—especially when blocking dates for owner use, maintenance, or personal reasons. The recent removal of the “Add note” function on blocked dates has made it much harder to stay organized and keep track of why a date was blocked.  I'm not sure why AirBnB unilaterally decided to drop this feature

Please restore this functionality. It was simple, useful, and clearly valued by many hosts. Removing it has disrupted calendar management for no clear benefit.
