Delete Airbnb Listing, then Recreate using Same Email address and phone?
One of the hosts in the Long Beach, California community asks if you delete your listing from Airbnb and do some repair work on the listing, then decide to re-list it, can you use the same email address and phone number and name associated with the old listing?

Yes, when you delete a listing from Airbnb and later decide to re-list it after making repairs, you can generally use the same email address, phone number, and name associated with the previous listing. Airbnb allows hosts to use the same contact information for multiple listings or even when relisting a property. However, it's essential to ensure that your previous listing has been completely removed or deactivated before attempting to create a new one with the same details. If you encounter any issues during the re-listing process, it's recommended to reach out to Airbnb's customer support for further assistance. They can provide specific guidance based on your situation and help you with any necessary steps to successfully re-list your property.

Thanks @Aaron1070 for taking the time to pen this response. I appreciate it. This host would not give me their listing URL so I think there may be something fishy going on -- such as trying to cover up bad reviews. Appreciate your answer.

Not sure what you mean by 'repairs to the listing' but if they want to do this to hide bad reviews then no airbnb may flag as would be against their T&Cs .

Thanks Helen,
Unfortunately, this may be the type of shenanigans they have in mind, and if so, they really should not be hosting.... Can you point out where in the text of the terms of service this is a violation and I will share with them. Maybe they need to quit the hosting game entirely....

@Jean174 Yes the host can do this BUT any reviews they have will stay associated with their profile so will still be visible to people looking at the new listing.
