House is in a Solo 401k Trust -Tax Question!

Hi! My Airbnb property was purchased through my Solo 401k.  This allows the rent to be added to my bank account tax free. And, like any 401k, I will pay taxes when I take distributions.

When Airbnb administrators required us to report our tax information, I reported the EIN for my Solo401k. The system kept sending me an error message, and wouldn’t accept anything except my Social Security number. My messages about this have not been addressed. How do I get this remedied before taxes are deducted at the end of the year?

Thank you!

@Sharon1585  You need to talk to your tax accountant.  As you are the owner of the Solo401k, adding your SSN to the AirBnB site may still allow the rent payments to be deposited to the 401 and reported as tax deferred income.
