I am a pet friendly host and believe I get more bookings because of it. I noticed since the recent announcement that AirBNB will start allowing pet fees it's now no longer a searchable / selectable item? Anyone else notice this? Believe it used to be next to smoking allowed checkbox which I DO NOT allow.

@Graham426 @Michael-James1 As @April403 mentioned, the option to find listings that accept pets is still available - if you start a search, you should be able to see something like this. Let us know if you don't!

Sad that they refuse to fix this issue still. I booked a place 2 adults with pets by putting that in the search. Still have to go through EVERY bit of the listings to confirm if it's actually allowed. Hotels really are winning back my business.
This has crushed my bookings as one of the few dog friendly units in my area.
100% agree! We have a no-nonsense dog and I'm supposed to have the time to troll through hundreds of listings' HOUSE RULES to find out they don't accept pets??! Not gonna happen. You lost our biz.
@Mary-Anne49 Have you read through this thread? When you put the number of people AND PETS into the search fields you will only get listings that accept pets. This is truly not rocket science!
Hi @Mary-Anne49, I have marked the best answer to this thread now, where it is mentioned how to find pet-friendly places through Airbnb search fields for your visibility. Do let us know if it works for you!
Hope it helps to make it easier for you to filter out pet-friendly listings.
Well, no it’s not rocket science but neither is it intuitive. The search window that appears on the Airbnb.ca Calgary website asks for how many adults and how many children - nothing about pets. So you put in your number of people and then naturally hope to be able to use a filter for Pet Friendly. There is none. Who’s to know you have to re-click on Guests to find that a Pets option miraculously appears in the list? Just ridiculous not to have it as a filter.
