Lots of great suggestions already. One of the most important things you can do is ensure your listing is complete. The search algorithm counts listing completeness as a factor in search rank.
Missing Information/Sections on Listing
Your listing is missing alot of information and sections have not been completed? After publishing there is a lot more information to add to complete the listing. Here is a Guide for New Hosts with tips on how to do that:
https://community.withairbnb.com/t5/Host-guides/A-Guide-For-New-Hosts/m-p/2073093#M2346
Amenities Incomplete
You are missing a lot of amenities and addl info on the ones you have listed. Go to the Listing Editor/Amenities and click ALL at the top and add every amenity you have. Then click EDIT at the top and you'll see pencil icons indicating add information you need to add. Also, Airbnb indicates you don't offer Hot Water?
Photos Incomplete
Add captions to ALL your photos.
The Where You'll Sleep section is missing. You need to go to the bedroom photos and add the type/size of the bed under sleeping arrangements in order for that to appear.
House Rules
You are missing some important House Rules. Go to the Listing Editor and finish completing that section.
Neighborhood Section Missing
This is important to guests. It is found in the Listing Editor under Location. You should complete the listing location verification in this section as well, or Airbnb will delay paying you for your first two bookings.
Guest Safety Section Incomplete
It looks like guests need to climb stairs to reach the bedrooms? You need to add this to the Guest Safety Section in the Listing Editor.
Title
You title should not use the name of the property as it doesn't mean much to guests. No need to mention Mysore, as guests already know the location. Instead list what are your best amenities or unique features like "Free Parking - Walk to xxxxx" or whatever are your best features.

Hi @Sandeep135!
My goodness @Sandeep135 - your place is absolutely beautiful 😍. It looks so inviting, spacious and the outdoors look equally amazing! The only suggestions that I would make is maybe show some linens in the bathroom and kitchen, and not sure how much space you have on your patio, but a couple of chairs with an end table would look nice. Anyways, I bet your place will be rented out all of the time!!!
@Jeanna27 Sure have taken your inputs, will implement today itself. Thanks for being kind and motivating

Hi @Sandeep135
I searched for your listing in Mysore, 5 guests, 1 to 2 October.
You came up at the bottom of page 2 for me.
I think it's a quick fix if you want to rank higher - the listings above yours are on average a bit cheaper, and you have to keep in mind that most of them also already have reviews. Your price is not out of line or ridiculously high - it's just that you'll probably need to lower it a bit to rank higher until you have hosted a number of guests.
Also, it will help with bookings and in search results if you tick more amenities. As you list only 12 amenities, I think you may have missed some that you already have.
Hope it helps!
Sure considering your inputs , Thanks for being kind and motivating
Hi @Sandeep135,
Your place looks beautiful — spacious, stylish, and definitely guest-ready 👏. Since you’ve just launched and don’t yet have reviews, here are some proven ways to boost your bookings quickly:
1. Adjust Pricing for New-Host Boost
In the beginning, set your nightly rate a bit lower than similar listings in Mysore. This helps your property appear higher in search and encourages guests to take the first step. Once you collect reviews, you can gradually increase the price.
2. Optimize Title & First Line
Guests usually see only the title + first line in search. Make them clear and guest-focused, e.g.:
👉 Title: “Boho Duplex Retreat in Mysore • 2BR w/ Balcony”
👉 First line: “Stylish 2-bedroom duplex with airy balcony & free parking — perfect for families or couples visiting Mysore.”
3. Highlight Key Amenities
Double-check your amenities list. Many guests filter by WiFi, AC, parking, kitchen, or family-friendly items. Even if they’re basic, ticking all available ones ensures you don’t miss filtered searches.
4. Boost Visibility with Photos
Your photos are great, but you could add lifestyle touches (fresh linens, cozy corner setups, a tea/coffee tray on the balcony). These small details help guests imagine themselves there.
5. Promote Outside Airbnb
Share your listing on WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and local travel groups. Sometimes the first few bookings come through personal or community networks.
6. Respond Fast
Airbnb favors listings where the host responds quickly. Turn on notifications and reply to inquiries within minutes if possible.
✨ With a slightly lower price, strong first impressions in your title/description, and a push on social media, you should see your first enquiries and bookings soon. Once the first reviews come in, visibility and trust will rise automatically.
Wishing you many happy guests and 5-star reviews! 🌟
Hi @Sandeep135 ,
Everything looks great. This is a beautiful space, but a couple things I would change.
a) make it look slightly more unique by adding some art on the walls that represent the “brand” you are selling. I don’t see much “boho” charm. Make the space look a little warmer. Like how is this space in India? I want to feel the community you’re in.
b) I didn’t take a thorough look of the listing but are there photos of the community you’re in? I want to visualize the best of the area I’ll going to as a tourist.
b) the bed looks unmade for some reason. Put a cozy boho quilt on it or something.
c) slightly different photography that really makes the space stand out.
d) Don’t hesitate to add art and culture to your space that represents the area you are in. People want a unique experience.
e) I didn’t like that you didn’t put spaces between the sentences in the listing.
Hey @Sandeep135
It looks fresh and appealing, soothing, but I'd add some splashes of color. A few attractive paintings, dishtowels, towels etc.
Plus, picture # 2 is confusing. Not quite sure what I'm looking at – which isn't good– and remove the empty bottle and reshoot.
I think colorful beds, fully made up with pretty sheets and blankets would make a huge difference.
Best of luck...
@Sandeep135 The place looks really beautiful! If I ever get the chance to visit India, I’d definitely consider staying here—it looks so cozy.
Just a small suggestion: maybe add more pillows on the beds (around two per guest) and make sure the bedsheets are neatly pressed.
Wishing you the best of luck!
