Airbnb just stacked a promotion discount with a monthly discount, how do I avoid this happening?

So I just had someone book for 28 days.  the booking occurred within a time frame where I had a 10% discount blocked for a 10 day period.  Airbnb stacked my monthly discount, even though it was 28 days, with the 10% discount on those ten days.  I'm kinda upset as this would've been a great booking otherwise...

how do I set it so only ONE discount per booking is given?

Discounts are always added up, so be prepared for that if setting them.

You are also warned for it, like when setting a promotional discount.
