Hello

I work with Airbnb for four years, never had any problem till yesterday. A had several people asking to make a reservation for one month, since the price is really cheap, daily price for whole month. I have contacted Help desk, they told me there is an overlap of discounts, but did not help me at all. Today I got new reservation, whole month for daily price,  which I cancelled. Now I have whole month blocked... Waiting for them to resolve the problem. Really, really dissapointed... Thank you for your welcome letter, sorry to bother ypu with my problems... Andrea

Your listing offers 97% monthly discount now.

I suggest to temporary set maximum stay to 27 nights to prevent having more faulty bookings.

Please check al settings in your listing (monthly discount, custom set monthly prices, apllied rulesets offering discounts)

Yes, I did. And checked, it is still possible to reserve whole month for daily rate. Waiting help desk to do something

The hugh discount error only affects now the month's August and September. (june, july do not have enough nights available for stays longer then 27 nights). Oktober, november, december  etc. seems to be OK.  Did you set a custom price (or rule-set) for August, September ?

(to be found under section "monthly discount", option "Set a custom price for a specific month")

 In monthly discount, I do not have any extra options like set a custom price for a specific month, just possibility to put a percentage of discount

Default setting:

Menu "pricing and availibility", section "trip lenght", option "maximum stay"

 

(But can be set elsewhere also by custom trip lenght or by rule set for certain time periods)

You came to the right place to ask your question, @Andrea4852 and were fortunate enough to have @Emiel1 respond with the usual helpful information.  I only add one more suggestion.  Since you are not familiar with some of the editing features, it would be important for you to review your whole listing and make sure each part reflects what you want.  Actually, even very experienced hosts find that sometimes things are changed on their listing without their knowledge so make it part of your routine to review your listing every once in a while.

I never had a problem before, being host for few years. I am little bit confused, it is 15 days max stay, but Emiel says it can be reserved for whole month, again with 96% discount

@Andrea4852  You need to go to your pricing settings and turn off all the discounts.
