Hi I m renting a room or 2 rooms in my house which myself and family are living in. I need to renew my house insurance but am having troubles as when I say there’s occasional air bnb lodgers my premiums double.  Is this normal? Thanks for any advice.

@Laura7971 I suspect it is normal as the risk is much higher than just for a single family. Have you tried JL Morris insurance brokers?

Yes commercial insurance such as hole insurance for short term rentals is always more than domestic insurance as the risks are higher @Laura7971
