Requesting your Data Information from Airbnb

For those of you who may not be aware we can now request a copy of our Information that Airbnb has in there systems on and about us, including Geo Location, interactions with Customer Support - although this seems to be lacking how we can access file notes taken from CS Agents, and much much more.

It's well worthwhile requesting this information, alas it's mumble jumbled as far as Timelines are concerned which makes it a challenge for us all - no doubt more challenging for those who may have disabilities or struggle with concentration.

Bear in mind also that these requests expire after 7 days if you have not managed to Open the Zip file so you may need to request it again.

It took 3 requests to finally receive a copy of my file that I was able to download and open alas there seems to be information and notes missing that I would reasonably expect to be within the files.

If you have already made a request for your file, how was your experience when you read it?

If you have feedback how and where there are Bouquets or a Brickbat maybe you can share them here in CC.

Thanks in advance

Hi @Helen427

Thank you so much for sharing this information.  I have submitted my request and am quite interested to see what Airbnb knows about me.

Cheers

Please let us know @Dave-and-Deb0 how you get on with analyzing the information you are provided.

We also welcome others to give feedback.

We have found a lack of clarity who is accessing our Private Information where.

There's a vast array of 'code' that some of you may be able to help us all decipher.

There is a lack of transparency from Trust and Safety Team involvement.

No mention of who Customer Service people supposedly seek supervisor assistance from etc etc.
