Uk council tax

if letting out full property, does council need to be notified? If so any extra council tax to pay? Under what name should council tax go?

currently on my sole name.

@Mohammed368 If you let the property as a short term Furnished Holiday Let then it should be registered for business rates not council tax. Depending on the rating value you may pay more or less than the council tax.
