I had a guest book for one night on July 7. He was given a 10% promotion discount on the price breakdown. I did not issue the promotion. How can I prevent this from happening on future bookings.

Discounts provided are issued by the host, not by Airbnb.
Check your listings for discounts you have active.
For example:
I looked at one of your listingS and noticed you offer the choice for '10% discount when choosing non-refundable cancellation policy" to guests.

@Dahl32 Not necessarily. Hosts sometimes find their settings mysteriously change on their own. It's important to check your settings every few days to make sure that hasn't happened.
