As the new year approaches, it's a great time to reflect on your hosting journey, think about ways to enhance your guest experience, and set New Year's resolutions:

• Would you consider adding new amenities to enhance the guest experience?
• What small but impactful updates could you make to your space or outdoor area to make your listing more appealing?
• Are you planning to focus on sustainability by adopting eco-friendly practices or improving communication by responding to guest inquiries more quickly?
• Have you considered updating your photos, adjusting your description, or fine-tuning your pricing strategy to attract the right guests?

my family and I live in Bergamo but since we are in love with Venice we bought a second house in the historic center, where we like to spend our weekends when we don't have guests.

Every time we go there we try to make some improvements, for example last weekend we decorated the house for Christmas. Now we have an eco-friendly Christmas tree, a beautiful bright star and two small nativity scenes in Murano glass.

For next year what we would like to do is improve our garden and maybe buy a bigger bookcase, in fact the books about Venice are starting to be many!

Greetings, 

Our studio offering is actually the 'poolhouse' on the property of our home.  We are on the East Coast of the US.  The city of Cambridge on the shores of The Choptank River/ Chesapeake Bay. 

2025 will be  our first full year as hosts.  

My resolutions look like this-

-Do a deeper dive into promotion through social media.  I have gotten mixed feedback on the benefits of using Instagram etc. to promote our airbnb listing. 

-Learn more about the inner workings of the Airbnb platform.  Sadly, some of the social media 'host pages' have a good deal of criticism about the policies and the support- I want to become more familiar with the tools in order to represent our listing in the most advantageous way. 

-My modest goal for 2025 is to have at least three weekends booked per month.

These 'resolutions' are easy as a new host team.  Having the poolhouse on our property is such   a great resource for us -We both work full time in the non-profit sector and during the high season -April-November spend as much time as possible with our outdoor athletic pursuits- this leaves little time for attending to guests- we want to make the most of our booking potential up front with efficient effective marketing. 

Learning those ins and outs and setting a schedule for updating listing photos and copy as well as updating IG seems to be the smartest way to fit that in.

Hello everyone 

I’m in Fort Worth and it’s lots of space in my house and for next year I want to improve the kitchen buying some stuff like a new automatic coffee machine, a fresh juice maker and air fryer 

I will have also a parking place in the garage
