1 Star rating by mistake

Can Airbnb not do something about the issue of guests leaving a 1 star overall review when they meant it to be a 5 star?

 

My repeat guest left all 5 stars in each category and a glowing review but the overall review was a 1 star. I called and was told that although it seemed clear that a mistake was made that nothing could be done about it. My guest was kind enough to call to say that she used her cell phone and it was a mistake. Needless to say she was told nothing could be done.

 

We strive as Superhosts to do everything Airbnb requires of us and then some to make our guest experience 5 star. How can a simple mistake not be rectified on their end? 

 

Please do something about this issue because as seen on this community board it has happened to quite a few of us.

Call again.  Sometimes you get a CS rep that has some ability to reason and not just parrot rules.

I think as a host what you can do is limited as you are not the author of the review.

i would consider asking the guest you left said review contact Airbnb to see if they can change the review to a 5* or take it down (worst case).

The rating cannot be changed.

 

But your guest can call Aribnb to delete the review (the copyright is owned by the person writing the review), so the 1 star rating will disappear at the same time.

 

No review is better than a great review with 1 star rating.
