What do you do when a person books for ONE guest but TWO show up? There isn't a price difference in our listing, but are all guests background checked? Is it only to let TWO in?? Still new to this .. thanks!!
Hi @Ruth521 ,
The only information you have about guest 2 is NADA.
Your problem is guest 2. My problem is guest 2,3,4,5,6,7,8.
I am trying to get guests to add further guests to their reservation by insisting via house rules that they invite and ensure all guests are added to the guest list using the ABB system. I'm not sure if this the only workable way but on the face of it, it seems the most appropriate.
You can state in your house rules that you require to see Government ID on check-in, although this is not always possible if you don't meet guests on check-in.
The *best* way to do this would be for ABB, as booking agents, to provide this information.
In your booking message to guest: ''just confirming your booking for one guest on 27th May, etc ''
You can certainly ask for guest names, but I normally just have a booking for two or three or whatever, but only ever see the name of one. Once I asked for the names ahead of time as they had a bad review from a prior stay. Normally I really don't mind either way.
