3rd party booking request reasons

Hello Everyone,

I am fairly new to AIRBNB hosting and I have to say I have had quite a few 3rd party booking request. I even had someone yesterday telling me she was booking for a cousin with a UN Passport. They said that they could not set up an account with airbnb because it was not recognized and for us to accomodate them. She even sent me a picture of it. We never really heard of a UN passport, so we did some research and there are alot of fraud with fake UN passport. We advised them ofcourse we can not make exceptions, and for them to contact AIRBNB if they have issues setting up an account. I have learned now to add more filters onto reservation requirements. Wondering if anyone else had this happened to them.

@DuongandLan0 - nope it hasn't happened to me, but you did the right thing.  If a UN passport is legal, Airbnb will let the guest set up their profile or work with that guest to come up with an alternate solution.
