ACH Information Error

Hello!

I have recently started hosting with AirBnB. I added a payout method via direct deposit, but received an email stating that there was an error with the payout information. I double checked with the bank that I was using the correct routing number, (ACH instead of wire transfer), and the payout method "status" on AirBNB shows to be ready. Does this mean that the payout method is going to work or is there still a problem with it?

The error message I received was "RJCT".

I re-entered the same payout method a second time, and am waiting to see if AirBnb says whether it works or not.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes, I've had the same problem, too. I also can't find any info on the problem.

I talked finally with an Airbnb help center agent. She was able to set me up on her end. I had been trying to add the info through the Android app, and she said that I should do it through the regular computer website. She had no answer as to why Airbnb would have this option on the app if it didn't work. In any event, she went ahead and tried to enter the info by computer on her end, and it finally did work. A 1 cent credit appeared in my account finally the next day.
