Adding payout method doesn't work - Australia

I don't want to use paypal.

I can't get the pay out fir my direct deposit ro gi through once the information is entered. Why is there no direct communication available with airbnb????

Well I can only tell you about my experience from using paypal and it's all good. Airbnb pays me through paypal 24 hours after guests arrive and I transfer it to a bank account and in couple of days it's there for me to spend!

I had the same issues and it was not until I had a confirmed booking that I was able to enter my account details. I find it frustrating not being able to communicate direct with airbnb.

I am having the same issue. I try and add a new payout method and I get an error everytime. Has anyone solved this? I have tried using Internet explorer and Safari, same error same issue??

Hello!

I managed to add another payout method using the Airbnb mobile App (after the assistance of the Airbnb team). You can try to use different browser, such as Chrome or Explorer (not Firefox) or mobile App.

I am also having problem with adding a payout method (other than PayPal), and I have two confirmed bookings. Does anyone know the solution for this problem?

Hi guys, I am also experiencing the same problem.  We don't want to use PayPal. I will follow the other advice and wait until we have a confirmed booking then try adding our details again. Yes, very frustrating.

Hi everyone,

I am new to hosting and appear to be having a similar issue. I already have 2 bookings (the first of which are due to check in on only 3 days!), but I have no payout method set up.

I want to use direct deposit into the bank, not PayPal. When I try to create the payout method, I am asked for my IBAN and SWIFT code. My bank tells me I should only need the SWIFT code and that they don't have an IBAN. I can't move forward without one and nothing I try seems to work. Can anyone help me please?

I also had to write my IBAN because it is number of my bank account, and also SWIFT code - code used for international wire transfers, which is same for all the accounts in that bank.

I only have wire transfer as a payout method but wanted to add paypal.

As soon as I type in my paypal account email, it freezes and i cant continue.

I am using Safari on a Macbook. I will try a different browser and share my experience

I work for an Australian Bank. I can confirm the we do NOT have IBAN numbers in Australia. 

Has anyone figured out how to get this working? It’s going to be something dumb like entering the swift code and number in some special sequence or format. Shame that Airbnb make this so hard to get paid.

I also had the issue that adding a bank account did not work.

I found out, that omitting the "date of birth" at the worldpay did the trick.

I am now on my third booking and can't add a international transfer payment method.

Why is there no response from Airbnb?
