Advice on Contacting Airbnb

For newbie hosts like me who are unsure how to contact Airbnb with questions or concerns, I would suggest that you reach out via Twitter @AirbnbHelp.  I had a serious issue with a group of guests last night (loaded weapon, pot-smoking, back door left open and gas stove still alit after they went out).  I expressed my concerns via Twitter and within an hour I had a response.  Within three hours, Airbnb had cancelled the guest's reservation, assured me that my pending Superhost status was secure and agreed to pay me the full booking rate (which I received less than an hour ago.)  So kudos to Airbnb support over at Twitter!

Well, that's the odd thing.  Airbnb sent the guest a message saying their reservation was cancelled and they were being rebooked into alternate accomodations.  When guest showed me the email, the alternate accomodation was MY home!  I'm letting Airbnb sort it out.  I've been paid.  The guests are gone.  It was only a two night booking.

@Julian40, thanks for sharing something that worked, even though a bit oddly. Your house was the alternative? Just the fact that ANYBODY'S house was going to be an alternative for someone carrying a loaded gun is disconcerting. Glad you are okay!

We had an issue over the weekend with large group of people who had party until 6.00 am. 

The house rule was no parties whatsoever, but they made noise all night long (25-30 people)
