AirBnB keeps my money after host is unresponsive

I wasn't able to establish any communication with the host after booking a reservation 3 days ago. I cancelled the reservation and got a partial refund. AirBnB is keeping 20% of the booking as their fee. That's complete BS.

There is not much to say but agree with you, @Frank292. Try to file a complaint to Airbnb - I once got a voucher after a host cancelled my booking.

I've spent 20 minutes of my time trying to file a complaint or a support ticket with AirBnB and it seems all but impossible. I left "feedback" which afterwards I was told "was not a ticket and no one will get back with you" and then got redirected here.

 

Sorry for venting, but if you have a link to where I can file a complaint or open a ticket that would be great. It sucks that AirBnB has decided to intentionally hide / disable communications between thenselves and their customers.
