AirBnB non Payment

We have had a guest stay with us, the amount is paid, and sitting in future payments, but we have not been paid yet?

how do we get these funds?

Airbnb can take up to 30 days to pay 1st bookings, to avoid fraud.

We have been online for two years and have had many payments made to us before, Why would this one be delayed so badly?

We had our 1st booking on 22/12/17   It is now 7 Feb 2018 and have had 20+ emails back & forth to Airbnb.   They say they phone or SMS you with a code but we have Never had one.  Then we find out that they think we are in New zealand & we are actually part of Australia!!!!  We have been forced to get a Payoneer Card (whatever that is!)  As they would not accept us being paid by Paypal or Mastercard.  This card could take 2-3 months to get to us if it comes by ship & not air.  Too add to that the amount they sent on the guests booking was $1442.87 (this was minus their Service Fee of $44.63)  BUT the email we have received says we are only receiving $1083.64 - approx 25% Fee?  Is this what they do?  Tell you one thing and pay you something quite different.  If anyone can explain this we would be grateful.

Great to meet you, I am sorry to hear your concern regarding your payment. 

 

Mark, I would recommend if you have already received your payment to contact our Support Team directly, this way they will be able to take a look at your account to see why this payment is taking longer than normal. Here is a useful Community Guide on the different ways to reach them (including a phone number).

 

Coral, it sounds like you are already in touch with are team, I wonder have you received your payment yet? It would be great to hear any update you might have.
