The Host for *** will not answer my phone calls or call me back. They took my money and our communicating with me. I needed to cancel or resecedule. I purposed the travels insurance and there is nothing but rain for the weekend. Hurricane in flordia pushing rain. no help and very dissappointed in Airbnb, insurance and the host. *** are not cooporating with refund.

I have tried. Host , insurance is very deceiving. Try to get your full refund. The host is a rental place go by the different policy. Take your money. Call the host no answer. Give you a number and it is the rental place
If you cancel the reservation, a refund (if any) will be calculated according the cancellation policy attached. If you need to cancel because of a extenuating circumstance, then read this:

If you read Airbnb's EC policy it says that if you travel to an area like Florida which is known for its hurricanes at this time of year, you can't cancel under it's EC policy if there's a hurricane.
It says:-
Natural disasters. Natural disasters, acts of God, large-scale outages of essential utilities, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, and other severe and abnormal weather events. This does not include weather or natural conditions that are common enough to be foreseeable in that location – for example, hurricanes occurring during hurricane season in Florida.
Has the Florida government put out a no travel warning for the area you are travelling to? If so, you should be able to claim for an EC cancellation under that.
I'm not sure why you're angry with the host for adhering to the cancellation policy that you booked under. (unless there's a no travel policy in the area).
