Hi,
I had a reservation that i booked recently with full payment and it was confirmed by the host. However, I have been getting emails and notifications from airbnb that my ID was not verified. So i decided to delete the ID and add it again. But as soon as i deleted my existing ID, my booking was cancelled and i got an email that a partial refund has been paid.
I was not prompted that my existing bookings will be cancelled, and within minutes, I had updated my government ID again. I don't think its right for them to cancel the booking instantly especially when the booking is still 1 month out in the future and the user uploaded the new ID within minutes.
Has someone faced this? What is the course of action from here? I have contacted support and waiting for their response
