An email from Airbnb to 'update payout info'

Is this real or spam?

When I clicked on the familiar pink bar, 'update payout info' it took me to 'Explore' not hosting?

It says I must update before October 18 2019.

Anyone else in Australia getting this message?

You are being asked to complete verification and I can confirm this is legit. It is a security check to preserve the integrity or your account and your funds. Once the verification is completed, the pause will be lifted and any due payouts will be released.

Hi Lisa, I am in Australia and received this message. It is legitimate - if the link isn't working, try clicking on your profile photo in the top right hand corner of the Dashboard - select Profile then repeat (as before) and this time select Account and then update your Payment Preferences under the Notifications menu. Hopefully once you've clicked into the menu, it will register you have "updated" your preferences even if you don't change anything. But firstly try clicking on the link on your PC instead of your phone or visa-versa as it should go directly to this menu. Good luck!
