Someone contacted me yesterday--his daughter is taking a red-eye flight from my town and he wanted to know if my space was available today.  Short notice indeed but I gulped and said yes.  He said he would let me know by noon today.  I told him when I would be out of the house and asked him to let me know when she was coming, as I could leave the key in the mailbox.  I changed my schedule to accommodate his daughter.  It's now after 12 noon and I haven't heard from him.  I still don't know if his daughter is coming.  Evidently he didn't even have the simple common courtesy to let me know.  I'm not happy.

It is a 3rd party booking which is not allowed, so better not accept or waste your time on it,

The daughter should book herself.

He just e-mailed me their plans have been delayed.  I'm done with this.
