Dear lovely AirBNB'ers,
The AirBNB space is our entire upstairs level of our single family house.
The space has a private full bathroom and 2 bedrooms. A foyer in the common area Upstairs
We also have a mancave for watching TV working or relaxing on that upstairs level.
My family and I live Downstairs.
We have a coded door for access for our guest.
We allow access to our kitchen if needed but that is downstairs in common area.
I guess why Im asking is I see filters when searching for room , appartment,or Entire floor.
I do not see entire floor as option on listing.
What would the most effective way to list this?
What you have, even if you add a microwave, is a shared space and should be listed as such. You can't put a lock on a bedroom door and call it an apartment. If you advertise this as a private space, guests will be disappointed when they encounter you in the kitchen or on the deck.
You can, however, put it right in the listing title "Private Suite on entire 2nd Floor" or something like that and then list all the great amenities that make it terrific - private door and locked entrance, mancave with cable TV, whatever makes it special. It's a cute house and the space looks inviting.
