Book an apartment in Cuba

Hi there, 

I'm trieng to book an appartment in Cuba using airbnb, but I have a message that 'airbnb is not licensed to provide booking'.

Looks like this is becouse of my location (UK). I have tryed to do it from Ukraine (this is not a Europian Union area), but had the same message.

Any advice about this?

And Canada. I spoke with an airbnb agent in Manila and he said it was only book able from the US. Which seemes weird - as they can't easily travel ther.

This a regulation of the US Goberment... Airbnb only  works for the people located in US. These must change in the next months... There are some other web sites, in the meanwhile...

Great to know all that... In the meantime, can you give me an advice about the other web sites you mentionned? I'm travelling to Havana next week and it's becoming urgent to make a reservation. Thanks a lot, David, for your help!

I have a casa in Varadero area on airbnb and have UK guest before so not sure why your having problems  hmmmm
