Booking apartment at 17?

I would like to book an apartment for a birthday trip with friends. I am currently 17 but we will all be 18 when renting the apartment. Would I be able to book it now or will I have to put it in my parents name? Thank you

In many countries you cannot enter into a legally binding contract until you are 18, also, third party bookings are not allowed (ie your parents booking for you) although you do see this happening. For those reasons alone, most hosts would not accept your booking.

I would wait till you are 18, can verify yourself on AirBnB and then book.

A word of caution - many hosts will run a mile from a group of 18yr olds celebrating a birthday.
