I have settings on my listing that limit bookings to 6 months in advance but have just received an instant booking for March 2019, which is 8 months ahead.
Can anyone help with this please?

Hi Steve, thanks for your help. I have just checked the listing and I have the booking window set as 6 months into the future which I presumed meant that guests couldn't book after that date. I have had it set like this for quite a while and it seems to have worked in the past.
I guess I need to contact Airbnb directly?

It looks like your desired setting of availability up to six months in advance isn't in place at the moment.
When I check it, your calendar shows dates are available up to December 2019.
You could check again on your side. I know that the Airbnb system sometimes unblocks dates without people doing it themselves as it's often reported on this forum and it's happened to me.
If the desired dates show to you as blocked then you should contact Airbnb support.

Yes, looks like only Airbnb support can explain what happened then.
Type "contact airbnb" in the "Search the community" box on these forum pages where you posted your question. Scroll down a little in the list of suggestions that appears and click on the "Contact Airbnb: A Community Help Guide[UPDATED]" one. That lists phone numbers and ways to contact them via Twitter or Facebook.

Could be an Airbnb glitch if you are certain you have a six month limit in place. The people to help are Airbnb give them a call and ask them to cancel it. Have done this four or five time when they have unblocked dates i have booked.

Thanks @Helen3. It seems like the support person I spoke to didn't know how to fix the issue but hopefully they will be in touch soon to rectify the issue.
Hi @Daisy3. Take a screenshot of your calendar as proof that it has those dates blocked. Then contact Airbnb immediately with your photo documented proof to have them cancel the booking.
