Business verification

Does anybody know how to become business verified in the UK? Some of the fields you fill in on the website don’t make sense to me.

If you're a Ltd company you have to fill in the Company account section and business details section.

If you're not a Ltd Company just fill in the Business details section.

If they can't trace your business, then they'll ask for more info.

Thank you Jeff. Without a company number though how can they trace you as a business? I am not a Ltd company and only have a Unique Tax Reference (UTR) number.

Its about your trading name, personal name, address and phone numbers all matching up.

I only have to google Chalets at Orchard house to see you're a legitimate business that's been trading for a while.

All that looks likes it matches up then. So we’ve still not been paid since June and we’re onto our 3rd case manager who says a higher department is trying to sort this out. We are at the end of the road now and in total despair.

You didn't mention payment problems, lots are having a problem with payouts.

Did you get the e-mail asking you to update your bank details or payouts would stop.

For some hosts changing the payout method has worked, if you are on bank transfer change to paypal or vice versa.

Yes the payout problem is the root of all this. Airbnb said we had to be business verified and so this problem runs alongside the payout method. I typed in the same

bank account details as they’ve always had ( and once verified I deleted the other method) and they put the one cent in my bank but nothing else appeared.
