Calendar glitch?

Every morning I look at my Calendar availability and I see that the day next is "unabilable for booking".  If I wake up on Monday morning, Monday is available, but Tuesday is blocked off. I have been following this "glitch?" for a couple days now, and it has been so consistently... I believe I can lose clients who are looking to book something at a short notice.... Is this happening to anyone else? or is this some "setting" that I dont know about... or a glitch?

@Q-and-Twila0, go to Availability Settings in your calendar. Click on the Reservation Preferences dropdown. Look to see what it says under both "How much notice..." and "guests can book the same day until". Maybe that's it?

wow... thank you so much. I changed the setting as per your guidance. I'll check tomorrow morning to see if that was the solution!

My calendar just started doing this same thing a few days ago. The settings were already set to make days available "same day", so this did not work for me.

Wow...this is ridiculous. I sync calendars with airbnb and VRBO. On airbnb i have the 3 month in advance option checked on the availability calendar. The sync has been working great up until last Saturday when i checked my VRBO calendar and everything past the 3 months was marked unavailable. When i unlink the sync between the two both calendars are correct. When i re-link the airbnb calendar to VRBO it again shows everything past the 3 month window unavailable. If i change it to 6 month window on airbnb then it blocks everything past 6 month as unavailable on the VRBO Calendar. AIRBNB support is useless and blames the problem on VRBO, when obviously it is with airbnb. Anyone else having this problem?? Any Suggestions? I've had to unlink the airbnb calendar from VRBO.

Hi. We just started hosting on Airbnb, and are having a problem unblocking some dates that were originally blocked out by Airbnb, when an error was made and we had to cancel a reservation.  I have tried to unblock a portion of the two weeks originally requested, but the site does not allow me to save any changes.  How can I unblock those days and make them available?  Thank you.

With these calendar issues being chronic and longstanding, why are they not fixed. It’s causing me great pains, loss of clients, need to cancel and therefore rating me low, may be deleted account and may have to hinder my super host progress.

I blocked all of July, but calendar keeps randomly opening days with default price. On one occasion somebody  made a booking which I then had to cancel, which I am really frustrated about because it means I can't get my super host status etc. I am being penalised for a glitch. Does anyone know how to stop this happening? I've reported it as a bug, but knows if anyone actually reads the complaints!

This happening to me as well.  I called Air and they said to clear the cache before and after each change,  which I did but it is still happening.  There are also other edits that are not being save regardless of cleared cache or not.  Frustrating!  They did say that is was a known glitch and that I would not be penalized but this should be fixed pronto.

This just happened to me as well and caused me to have to cancel a reservation. Anyone know who to call about this?

I am never able to get through to someone on the customer service line? I, too had someone book outside of dates I set for availability on my calendar, but am reluctant to cancel it as it says there may be fees involved. Was anyone else charged to make a cancellation?

Hi Amy

I only solved this by actually speaking to someone on the phone. They were really helpful, and adjusted the cancellation I'd been forced to make by the calendar glitch to a  'cancellation by administration' instead. I wasn't charged when I made the cancellation, but it does affect your Superhost status, and if you make more than one, they can freeze your listing, so the only thing I can suggest is keep hanging on the phone. By the way, I'm still getting the same problem of random days opening up except now it's September instead of July!

This happened to me also . I had to cancel a booking at Christmas-Jan 2018 which I hadnt opened.

I got a slap over the knuckles from air bnb , a warning and I cannot remove  the cancellation. I get mostly great reviews and cannot get a superhost status.

I complained about the calendar and received a warning from airbnb that with my listing  saying that I had no idea  of the platform at ALL and  should snooze my listings and add a description room by room. I dont understand what they are trying to say and I feel that my listing is accurate. I will insert a  photo of the kitchen in my appartment.  Does any one know how to contact them?

I have 4 properties listed with Airbnb.

I recently started feeding my calendar from my Trip Advisor sites.

I noticed this morning that three of my properties are being fed bookings from the 1st property as well as from it's own! I tried re-inputting the code and it has made no difference.

This may explain why I have had so few Airbnb bookings lately.

I suggest other owners with multiple properties check.

I have reported the fault and they are looking into it, but it seems like a major software glitch.
