We rent our appartement in Marokko, but sinds some time we have no reservation. We were looking for our listing, but can't find it. Even on the map! In the app it's active. Maybe before people told us we are difficult to find in the listing, but now we disappeared! Wat can we do????
Thanks for thinking with us, Katja&Hassan

@HassanandKatja0, I found your listing; I had to move the map to right around your location so that there were only 132 listings showing.
Your listing was on the very last page, and was almost the very last listing. It was #130 of 132.
That is a very very low search ranking. Being ranked so low will make your listing very hard to find; when the map contains more than 300 listings, the search results will only include the top 300 listings, and since your listing is so low ranking, it will almost never be in the top 300.
You should try to figure out why your listing ranks so low. I noticed two things right away: One is that you cancelled a confirmed reservation; that always hurts your search ranking. Secondly, you do not have Instant Book on; having Instant Book on helps a lot.
Look at other listing nearby and try to figure out why they are all ranking higher than yours, then make improvements to your listing. You can also ask for help here with improving your search ranking.

Dear Matthew, thank you very much for your reply. That explains a lot. We had to cancel one reservation, almost one year ago, because she booked direct ( at the time) but was not with our houserules, like needing to be married in Morocco when you rent a room. We did not know at the time and she accepted the cancelation...
So after this experience we stopped direct booking. We like to rent our appartement because we like people and have to offer value, not for the money. Do you have any idea what we can do exept direct booking?
Thanks sincerely
Katja&Hassan
@HassanandKatja0, the best way to increase your ranking is to have a lot of good reviews and ratings. Of course, it is hard to get good reviews if you do not get a lot of bookings.
If you cannot turn on Instant Booking, then the fastest thing you can do to get bookings (and also move up the search rankings) is to offer temporary discounts. It is generally not good to lower your price too much, but if you are in a situation where you need more guests, it is a fast way to get them.
Once you have more good reviews and a better ranking, then you can put your price back where it belongs.
If the AirBnB system gives you the chance to add a special discount, you can make those offers. Otherwise, you can lower your price to be more competitive for now. It is not a great solution, but if Instant Book is not a choice for you, it is a fast way to take action.
And please do not cancel any more reservations...
Hello @HassanandKatja0,
Welcome to the Community Center!
I'm happy to see that Matthew was able to help you out with this. I was able to find a couple of helpful guides created by experienced Airbnb hosts such as 'A Host's guide to Airbnb' and '25 tips to get booked'. There is also an Airbnb Help Guide which explains how search results are determined.
Let me know how it goes!
Maybe I am doing somthing daft as I can't find our isting either, despit the email and everything saying it has been listed, and beng bale to find it on preview when setting it up. We have even searched on the exact area and also on the exact postcode?
@Sarah1124, I think there is something wrong with the listing, as it does not seem to have a location on the map.
This link should always be able to locate your listing, if it exists on the map:
https://www.airbnb.com/s/homes?host_id=98750573
Can you check your availability settings? One person had the problem where their listing was not on the map. It turned out that the listing had no value at all in the "Maximum stay" setting.
When that was fixed, the listing appeared.
Slightly changing the address has helped. (You can change it back later).
