Cancelations / Unblock

I canceled a reservation for a guest in error... Now the dates are blocked... Does anybody know how to "unblock" dates on my calendar?

We have tried everything  and cannot seem to unblock..

Any help would be appreciated...

You have canceled the dates therefore the penalty is having your dates blocked. What's the reason you canceled?

If you wish to rebook that guest, you will need to contact Airbnb ASAP, explain the situation and ask them to unblock. You will be penalized with a fee if you do not have this fixed by them.

Hi, I have had the same problem. I cancelled a reservation this morning and now want to send an updated quote to a different guest but the dates from the previous reservation are still marked off as blocked?

how do i mae teh dates available again?

pls help!!??

HI, i have a similar situation.  While I was waiting for a pre approval to be accepted for a guest, we changed the settings to instant book becasue we read somewhere it would get more bookings.  Unfortunately for us, someone instant booked on the exact dates another guest wanted (go figure.)  The person instant booked for only one day while the other guest wanted three.  The instant book guest sent me a cancellation request which i approved.  Now i have one blocked date on that weekend.  IS there anyway i can have this unblocked?

I had exactly the same situation and for the reason given, needed one night for family event in middle of requested stay. Didn't know I had instant book on. Person agreed and unbooked himself. Bad fault with airbnb. How do you complain to them?

Hi can someone tell me how to contact Airbnb to resolve the penalty for cancelled dates of the guest I did not pre-approve?

I have someone else who needs to book the dates that I had to cancel. And now I cannot let the person take those dates, because someone else tried to book it. And when I cancelled, now it's giving me a msg saying I will be penalized. But, I never pre-approved that person. How do I let Airbnb know this so that I can unblock those dates?

Is there a phone no? Help!! Thanks.

I have a similar problem.  I cancelled an instant booking for February 2017 because I was unsure of my ability to host.

Now that I am able to host in 2017, I find that the dates 5-10 March are blocked because I cancelled.  How to unblock?

I can't phone airbnb for help because I reside in South Africa.  airbnb should have an email address to which hosts can direct their questions.  Surely we're entitled to user-friendly assistance in exchange for the fees they take off reservations!

Yo I had the same problem, had pre-approved someone before instant book went on and then another guest booked overlapping those dates so I canceled explaining I had already arranged them for the person I pre-approved and now the dates are blocked... How the hell can I contact airbnb?

I also would like to know how to unblock dates that remain blocked as a penalty by Airbnb,  due to a cancellation that I made.

(first time offence, the pricing for the following year had not been verified by me, didn't even know the dates were available for the next year.  My mistake, as I am new to Airtbnb, and didn't realise that dates for 2018 were available and had the wrong pricing structure )

 

How do you contact Airbnb?  Have been all around the houses looking for a contact address/number!
