I'm currently arranging my travel in Japan. I booked a room and the host offered me a discount if I booked 7 days not 6. The host didnt know how to change the booking so suggested I cancel and re-book, which I did. Unfortunately Airbnb charged me the service fee for the cancelled booking, so know I'm being charged twice for the same booking. Its nearly imposible to sort this through the resolution centre. Can I get my initial service fee refunded ?

That's stating the obvious, I appreciate your help, but I can't get hold of Airbnb and I don't have a twitter account.
This should be an easily resolved, but it seems when it comes to Airbnb's fee's they protect them fearcely and don't have consumer contact availability in place. This is against consumer affairs policy in Australia and should probably be reported to the Ombudsmun.
