Cancellation mistake

Cancellation mistake

I'm new to this, as soon as my listing went live I got an instant book request and hadn't finished final tweaks to me listing. So I had to cancel and tweak, and now the group who sent the request can't re-book those dates, which seems very odd. Can anyone help me?

Perhaps take a bit of time to learn how airbnb works before you let your listing go live.

You have now been victim to host cancellation penalties - if the guests want to rebook the cancelled dates, you would need to contact airbnb and plead your case.

@Marco342 cancellation from the host's side has penalties as @Marit-Anne0 mentions too. 

But since you are so new to this and that cancellation was definitely a mistake of the moment, contact Airbnb to see what they will tell you about it.
